Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) received a visit from Weetebula Catholic University, Monday (7/8/2023). This visit was in the context of establishing collaboration with Undiksha and Undiksha Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD).
This visit was attended by the Deputy Chancellor II of Weetebula Catholic University, Kluistoforus Palli Ngongo, S.H., M.Pd., and Secretary of the PGSD Study Program Daindo Milla, M.Pd. His presence was received by Undiksha Vice Chancellor for Academic and Cooperation Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I.
At this meeting, Prof. Rasben Dantes explained the various policies and achievements Undiksha had achieved so far. As one of the Teaching Personnel Education Institutions (LPTK), Undiksha has always been committed to being able to produce superior and competitive resources, one of which is by producing professional and superior teacher candidates through the PGSD Study Program.
He appreciated the desire of Weetebula Catholic University to cooperate with Undiksha in optimizing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This is also a form of follow-up to the Freedom to Learn Campus Merdeka (MBKM) policy which encourages every tertiary institution to always collaborate with other universities and other institutions so that they can jointly develop and improve the quality of graduates and their respective institutions.
Kluistoforus Palli Ngongo conveyed his visit to Undiksha in the framework of establishing Cooperation in the field of Higher Education’s Tri Dharma, namely Education and Teaching, Research, and Community Service. This collaboration is not only with the university but also specifically with the PGSD Undiksha study program. This was done, considering the large number of Weetebula Catholic University alumni who continued their Master’s and Doctoral Education at Undiksha. So it is hoped that in the future good cooperation can be forged in order to improve the quality of each institution.
It is hoped that through this collaboration, the good relationship between Undiksha and Weetebula Catholic University can continue and can become a tertiary institution that can produce superior, competent, and competitive human resources. (hms)
