Singaraja- Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) received a visit from Walisongo State Islamic University (UIN), Semarang, Friday (15/3/2024), in Ganesha I Room, Rectorate. This visit also included the signing of cooperation in the field of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
The UIN Walisongo group was led directly by the Chancellor Prof. Dr. H. Nizar, M.Ag., and received by Undiksha Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation Prof. Dr. Gedr Rasben Dantes., S.T., M.T.I. At this short meeting, Prof. Nizar conveyed the collaboration with other universities, one of which was Undiksha, to mutually strengthen the Tri Dharma Higher Education program or specifically the superior program initiated by the university.
One of the activities that according to him can be collaborated on is the implementation of Thematic Real Work Lectures (KKN). Through this program, the two universities, through their students, can jointly contribute to supporting village development.
Undiksha Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rasben Dantes also welcomed this collaboration and hoped that it would have an impact on improving the quality of each university. After this meeting, it is hoped that the programs that will be implemented can be designed immediately.
It was further stated that Undiksha is currently organizing itself and continuing to improve the quality of various mason stones that are made every year while maintaining harmony within it. “This harmony is always the basis for every activity at Undiksha,” he said.
On this occasion, Prof. Rasben Dantes also conveyed the study programs that Undiksha has and the international programs that are being implemented to develop student competencies, such as the fast track program, student exchange, foreign language courses, and so on. These various programs are certainly useful for providing an international experience for the entire Undiksha academic community. (hms)
