Singaraja – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) has held the status of a Public Service Agency (BLU) since 2015. However, efforts to stabilize it continue, one of which is through a Group Discussion which presents the Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) Bali Province and the Head of Singaraja State Treasury Service Office (KPPN) in Ganesha Room I Rectorate Building, Thursday (30/01/2020).
Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd. who opened the event said that the main reason for the presence of the two leaders of the Treasury office in Bali was because of the desire to improve the achievements so far so that a more in-depth evaluation was needed by the appropriate agency. “Many people think that we are good, including the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education which awards it as the best in terms of absorption. However, I wanted Undiksha’s achievements to improve, so I asked the KPPN and DJPb to evaluate our financial performance especially. Is it true that this achievement has a positive impact on the progress of Undiksha?” he said.
As BLU, through this discussion, Undiksha is known to have many assets that are considered capable of bringing in funds as income generating, such as tennis and soccer courts. These assets will be managed optimally. “From the financial management system, all assets can be rented out, for example, tennis courts and soccer fields. What was discussed at the meeting was very good for Undiksha because in fact there are many assets that we can use to advance education and earn income in the context of carrying out activities at Undiksha,” explained the Rector from Nusa Dua, Badung Regency.
In the discussion which was attended by all Deputy Deans II, Deputy Director II Postgraduate, Heads of Sections and Heads of Subdivisions in Undiksha, Head of the DJPb Bal Regional Office, Tri Budianto emphasized that his presence with the team was not patronizing but rather a discussion with leaders and staff at Undiksha regarding the results evaluation from the point of view of the Public Service Agency (BLU) that has been carried out so that it can have a positive impact on Undiksha. On that occasion, he also appreciated Undiksha’s performance. “If we look at Undiksha’s performance, it has increased, but overall there is still a lot that we can improve.” he insisted. He hopes that Undiksha, which has considerable potential, can become the best university in Bali. “We can optimize what we can optimize. So that we can increase in terms of income at Undiksha which we will return to improve services in the world of education, especially in the Bali region,” he said.
Likewise, the Head of the Singaraja KPPN, Jordan, also highly appreciates the collaboration that has been carried out by his party with Undiksha. On that occasion, he also conveyed an overview of Undiksha’s financial performance evaluation, in addition to the signing of the Joint Agreement between Undiksha and the Singraja KPPN which was witnessed by the Head of the DJPb Bali Regional Office and also Undiksha’s General and Financial Bureau and all discussion participants.
