Singaraja-Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) was again visited by other universities. This time from the Global Institute of Technology and Business, Tangerang, Friday (9/12/2022). This visitation was in order to establish cooperation in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education fields, as well as to determine the implementation of the Merdeka Student Exchange Program in which the students participated.
On this visitation, the Rector, Dr. H. Dedy Royadi, M.Sc., came directly and was received by the Head of AKPK Undiksha Bureau, Drs. I Made Yasa, M.Pd., accompanied by PIC of Merdeka Student Exchange Undiksha, Dr. Gde Wawan Sudatha, S.Pd., S.T., M.Pd.
On this occasion, Dedy Royadi explained that apart from being a place for establishing a friendship, his visit to Undiksha was also in order to establish cooperation in the field of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Education and Teaching, Research, and Community Service. He considered Undiksha to have entered the top 50 as the best higher education in Indonesia. Therefore he wanted to get to know and learn many things from Undiksha. “We have to establish benchmarks to find out what Undiksha has done as one of the best campuses,” he explained.
It is hoped that the collaboration established is not only an MoU, but there will be follow-up and concrete actions to support each institution’s development and progress. He is also very open to collaborations specifically related to the freedom to Learn-Independent Campus program. According to him, through this program, one of which is the Merdeka Student Exchange, students can gain academic experience and learn about culture and diversity. (hms)
