Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is entrusted with being the coordinator for implementing the 2021 Basic Competency Selection for Candidates for Civil Servants (SKD-CPNS) for eight agencies in Bali which are under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. This selection took place from 20 to 25 September 2021. In line with this, technical preparations were carried out carefully, including prioritizing the Covid-19 prevention protocol. The Buleleng Regency Covid-19 Handling Task Force also conducted monitoring, Friday (17/9/2021). Undiksha is considered to have prepared well.
Secretary of the Buleleng Regency Covid-19 Handling Task Force, Gede Suyasa, assessed that the committee was very ready to carry out this selection. From a technical aspect, it has been arranged. Room capacity has taken into account the distance between participants based on the Covid-19 prevention protocol. Likewise with the flow of participant arrivals, waiting areas, and so on. Apart from that, Undiksha is also seen as having prepared a special room for participants who have symptoms of health problems. “If you see a runny nose or cough, that must also be done screening additional, so that it can be given in a different room,” he said.
Furthermore, this bureaucrat from Tejakula, Buleleng also asked to postpone the implementation of the test for participants who were confirmed positive for Covid-19 and given a new schedule. “The positive should not follow. Please reschedule,” he said. Then according to the directions from the National Task Force to the regions, it is hoped that all those involved in the selection will use the care-protect application because it will become screening accurate start to detect confirmed Covid-19 or not. “You will see the vaccination status and the Covid test status. This is also to ensure the authenticity of the certificates brought,” he explained.
He added, currently Buleleng Regency has entered the yellow zone or low risk of spreading Covid-19. However, he invited the whole community to maintain health protocols, including for SKD participants. “The health program remains strict so that if possible next week it can become a green zone. So it doesn’t mean that the new zone is safer, then ignore it. But we will stick with good health protocols,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Administration, Finance, and Human Resources, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., explained that there were 1,911 people registered in this selection. This number consists of formations from Undiksha, Udaya University, Denpasar Indonesian Art Institute (ISI), Bali State Polytechnic, Bali Provincial Education Quality Assurance Institute, Bali Provincial Cultural Preservation Center, Bali Cultural Heritage Preservation Center, and Region VIII LLDIKTI. The selection is divided into several sessions and still pays attention to the Covid-19 prevention protocol, both by the committee and participants. “There are several requirements and criteria that must be obeyed by the committee, including the participants. That every committee on duty, they have passed the Covid test, at least with a rapid antigen or PCR swab and using a care for protection application. This is in order to suppress the wider spread of Covid, “he said.
He added that the committee is trying to prepare and carry out this selection optimally. Therefore, all the things that are required by the ministry or by the Covid-19 handling task force will be completed before the selection takes place. “As conveyed by the Covid-19 task force, the implementation of the health program is already at 65 percent. This means that because it’s not D-day yet, we still have time to complete the various things required by the Covid Task Force,” he concluded. To ensure smooth selection, the committee will carry out a simulation the day before. This is also to re-ensure technical readiness. It is hoped that the selection will run smoothly. (hms)
