Singaraja- Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) issued a Decree on the Appointment of Academic Positions for Lecturers of the Medical Profession Education Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Monday (24/10/2022). In line with this Decree, the lecturers who are also clinical education doctors at the Buleleng Regional Hospital are invited to strengthen the Tri Dharma of Higher Education implementation.
The Decree was handed over by the Head of the Undiksha General Affairs and Finance Bureau, Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H., M.Pd., in the Faculty of Medicine Seminar Room. She, who represented the Undiksha Rector, appreciated the support of these doctors for implementing education and teaching at the Faculty of Medicine Undiksha. In line with the receipt of the Decree on Appointment for Academic Positions, it is hoped that lecturers will continue to develop their careers in other academic positions and through the Tri Dharma of Higher Education implementation in the form of research and community service. “To strengthen the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, we ordered the Faculty of Medicine, so that these doctors can exist in their careers. Can work together with the ranks at the Faculty of Medicine in terms of research, community service and other tasks assigned by the Rector so that later it can be used as a lecturer workload or Beban Kerja Dosen (BKD) in developing itself in implementing the learning process at the Faculty,” he said.
Meanwhile, Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Medicine Undiksha, Dr. dr. Ni Luh Kadek Alit Arsani, S.Ked., M.Biomed., explained that the Decree on Appointment for Academic Positions was given to eleven lecturers. Ten people for the functional position of expert assistant and one lecturer. The lecturers are from the main teaching hospital, the Buleleng Regional Hospital, a clinical teaching doctor who already has a NIDK and has served since 2018. “Finally, on today’s occasion we were able to fulfill the points for the Tri Dharma field so that we have fulfilled the functional position of expert assistant,” she explained.
The home-based lecturer is in the Doctor Profession Study Program and directly educates the co-ass students at the hospital. However, some teach in the Medical Study Program. Alit Arsani stated that the Faculty would maximize assistance in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and other matters related to functional positions. “Every month we will provide assistance. We will have a road show for each department, for example on the first week on Friday so that it doesn’t disturb our services, we will accompany them,” she said. (hms)
