Singaraja- The Department of Law and Citizenship, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, University of Education of Ganesha (Undiksha), Singaraja was visited by students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program (PPKn) of Buana Perjuangan University (UBP), West Java, Tuesday (10/12/2019).
The visit was received directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Sukadi, M.Pd., M.Ed, He stated that he is very open if anyone is interested in learning about Pancasila and Citizenship Education which is related to culture in Bali. “We are very open to sharing information, especially those directly related to science here,” he explained.
The visit was filled with the presentation of cultural and social culture introduction material from student representatives from both parties guided by the moderator, Ni Kadek Satyam Krisna Parijata. The first material was delivered by a representative of Undiksha PPKn Study Program students, namely I Putu Indra Artha Antara, related to Pancasila as the philosophy of life for the Indonesian nation which has the same principles as philosophy in Bali, namely Tri Hita Karana. Philosophy invites people to establish good relations with God, with each other, and with the environment. Submission of the next material was continued by the PPKn Undiksha student representative, namely Gusti Made Suhartana regarding culture, art, and natural charm in Bali. Wealth is a special attraction that must be proud of and preserved. “Many do not know the differences between each art in Bali, where they are almost similar but not the same,” he said.
The next material was filled by a student representative of the PPKn UBP Study Program, namely Widi Asamelia regarding Profile, Buana Perjuangan University is located in Karawang including the area of West Java. The motto of the West Java region is neat and tidy crumbs which come from the Sundanese language which means Subur, prosperous, prosperous and peaceful, enough clothing and food, and peace, harmony, and peace. Changes every year where Karawang becomes one of the most populous cities in West Java is enough to have an impact on its socio-cultural which is predominantly an industrial area.
Submission of the last material by the PPKn UPB student representative, namely Dodi Ahmad Badewi regarding the demographics of Karawang City bordering Cikarang City and Bekasi Regency in the west, Rengasdengklok and Rawamerta in the north. Infrastructure development in West Java has facilitated and made it easier for people to do their activities, one of which is rail public transportation, which the government continues to work on.
Then a discussion session was carried out related to how Bali generates selling points for tourists to be attracted to Bali which were immediately responded to by the two speakers from representatives of PPKn Undiksha Study Program students. Bali, with all its cultural beauty and natural charm, provides its own selling points for everyone, with the support of comfortable facilities and proper management, which can provide selling points for Bali. At the end of this comparative study, there was a group photo session and a few closing remarks, and then a joint meal. (rls)
