At the beginning of the year, Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) closed ranks. Chancellor, Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., asked all academics to commit to realizing the university’s vision of becoming a superior university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia by 2045. “This Tri Hita Karana must continue to be upheld,” he stressed when giving direction to the Study Program Coordinator, Head of Department, Secretary of Department, and Head of Faculty Lab in Ganesha III Room, Rectorate, Monday (7/1/2019).
The Chancellor from South Kuta, Badung Regency, stated that the atmosphere on the campus with eight faculties was very conducive. There was no turmoil. It is hoped that this can continue to be maintained. “This year is planned to be the year of internationalization. We want everyone to support and maintain conduciveness. “The atmosphere at Undiksha is very cool,” he said. It was further stated that Undiksha cannot be separated from the world of bureaucracy. It is also hoped that this can run effectively, efficiently, and quickly. “Don’t let the bureaucracy take too long. “This must be effective, efficient, and fast,” he said.
Meanwhile, Undiksha Deputy Chancellor II, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., said that to realize Undiksha’s vision, there needs to be a joint commitment. Leaders of institutions and departments must have a visionary spirit. “Everyone must understand their duties. There must be a shared commitment. “In this way, Undiksha’s vision will be realized before 2045,” he added. (hms)
