Denpasar- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) launched an e-office and inventory system for the 2021 Development Coordination Meeting (Rakorbang), Wednesday (4/12/2019). This information technology-based breakthrough is one of the ways to achieve excellent service.
The two systems were launched by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd. He said, in this era where fast steps are demanded, the use of technology in services continues to be maximized. “With the addition of these two systems, Undiksha now has 46 IT-based systems. We have to make the most of it,” he said.
Deputy Chancellor II Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., who also accompanied him, said that the implementation of this system must receive support from all parties and its progress is continuously monitored. “This system could change at any time. This will continue to be evaluated so that it can run optimally,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of UPT ICT Undiksha, I Ketut Resika Arthana, S.T., M.Kom, explained that one form of e-office is signing a certificate. “The signing of this electronic certificate has collaborated with the Electronic Certification Center (BSrE) – the National Cyber Crypto Agency (BSSN),” he explained.
This breakthrough, according to him, also serves to improve the security of electronic information which includes authentication, integrity, non-denial, and confidentiality. The use of this certificate is in accordance with the mandate of UU ITE no 19 of 2016 and PP PSTE of 2012. In inventorying goods, it will also be easier to access documents. This automatically has an impact on time efficiency and is environmentally friendly. “With this system, the possibility of losing data will be smaller. Its use will continue to be developed, even in terms of correspondence, “he concluded. (hms)
