Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) continues to increase the accreditation of study programs. This has been going on this year. The Primary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) was one of those that received a field assessment from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) team, on Monday (1/4/2019).
The arrival of assessors consisting of Prof. Dr. Ir. Arita Marini, M.E and Dr. Aan Listiana, S.Pd., M.Pd was welcomed directly by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd with staff in the Faculty of Education courtroom. The Chancellor from South Kuta, Badung Regency said that this year he is targeting 20 study programs to undergo re-accreditation, including the PGSD Study Program. “We hope everyone can get an A,” she said.
Accelerating the realization of the university’s vision of becoming a superior university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia by 2045, Undiksha is also encouraging study programs that have been accredited A to initiate participation in university networking Asia accreditation. “We have planned this this year for Mathematics and Physical Education, Health and Recreation. “In 2020, Geography and History Study Program,” she said.
It was further stated that in achieving this target, the university which has received A accreditation has made various efforts, starting from improving the quality of Educators and Education Personnel as well as Students. There is also an improvement in facilities and infrastructure to international standards.
Meanwhile, Prof. Marini delivered this field assessment to adjust the data submitted by the study program to the facts. They also hope that everything will run smoothly and the results will be as expected. “We adjust the data by nature. If there is additional new data beyond what was previously submitted, it can be submitted now. For example, achievements,” she said. (hms)
