Ganesha University of Education students once again succeeded in achieving achievement as second runner-up at the national level in the Scientific Writing Competition (KTI) held by HIMA PGSD Wates, Yogyakarta State University (UNY). The students are In’am Azizur Romadhon, Husnul Khuluq, and M. Zainul Hasan. The three are in one group.
To achieve this achievement, according to Azizur Romadhon, he had to compete with other prestigious universities in Indonesia, such as the University of North Sumatra, Diponegoro University, Bandung Institute of Technology, and Bogor Agricultural Institute. “This is the one invited to enter the top ten and the final,” he explained after meeting Undiksha Deputy Chancellor III, Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Pujawan, M.Kes., Friday (28/11/2018).
In the competition, the work of this 7th semester Geography Department student was entitled “Halfway House For Life as an Innovative Effort in Overcoming the Problem of Homelessness”. At first glance, as explained through this concept, it can overcome the existence of homelessness, especially in urban areas because it provides a solution through the construction of multi-functional shelter places and is built in shelter areas so that it does not disturb public facilities and the beauty and comfort of the city. Deputy Chancellor, I Gusti Ngurah Pujawan appreciated this achievement. However, it is hoped that there will still be improvements in quality so that they can win the top championship. “We continue to encourage the growth of student achievement,” he stressed. (hms)
