Singaraja – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) students are making achievements one after another. Now coming from the Department of Law and Citizenship, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences (FHIS), namely I Wayan Ariawan, Risca Christina G.W and Gusti Made Suhartan. They succeeded in winning the best paper at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) event for Indonesia held by Udayana University, from 26 to 27 April 2019.
Confirmed, Friday (3/5/2019), Ariawan explained that in the competition which was participated in by the Department of Social Sciences throughout Bali, his team raised the paper “Revitalizing Balinese Customs to Maintain the Customary System as a Reflection of Customary Cases in the Dynamics of Development of the Times and Their Consistency in Advancing Balinese Culture”. In it, solutions are presented to maintain Balinese traditions and culture amidst the onslaught of globalization. “We see that the era of globalization can shift customs and culture. We try to offer solutions so that doesn’t happen. “Starting from strengthening sanctions if violations occur as well as strengthening synergy between official and customary villages,” he explained.
The paper, he continued, was prepared effectively within a week. “We presented it. Each college presents different papers. “There is about handling waste and matters related to hoaxes,” he said. The ideas written down are not only for competition purposes. But it was also submitted to the DPR RI so that it could be accommodated and submitted to the government. “It’s not just the thoughts of the Undiksha team. But also from other universities. “The ideas will be summarized and submitted to the DPR RI,” he explained. This achievement is used as motivation to take part in competitions at a higher level. “So far there is no information about national-level competitions. “If we are appointed to represent Bali, we will be very ready,” he added.
