Singaraja– Program implementation and budget realization in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic is a serious concern of the Deputy Chancellor/Assistant Chancellor II Forum of Indonesian State Universities. It is hoped that these two things will continue to run well and in accordance with applicable regulations. “Through this opportunity, I would like to convey that we (WR/PR II, ed) are at the forefront of universities in the field of finance. During a situation like now, I hope that all of us will be more careful, smarter, smarter in using and doing it refocusing program of activities,” said the Head of the Forum, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, when opening the general meeting, Tuesday (25/8/2020) evening.
This meeting also presented the PPK Director of the Public Service Agency of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, Ari Wahyuni. Lasmawan who also serves as Deputy Chancellor II of the University of Education of Ganesha (Undiksha) said that this forum had tried to create several innovative programs to strengthen togetherness, especially between state tertiary institutions concerning financial governance, planning, and human resources. However, in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, which demands intelligence in responding to the situation, his party hopes that the Deputy/Assistant Chancellor will have more knowledge, especially PTN regarding tips on program and budget management. “That is why in every forum activity, we try to bring in several sources to gain some knowledge and added knowledge. And tonight, we at the forum deliberately invited the Director, to get knowledge and tips on how we can do the program and budget correctly and actually,” he said in the meeting which was also accompanied by the Head of the Bureau of General Affairs and Finance and the Head of Undiksha’s Planning Section.
Delivered further, this activity is also a form of attention to the circulars of the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemendikbud) and the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) of the Republic of Indonesia which require state universities to conduct focusing program and budget as an impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. On that occasion, Lasmawan presented the Deputy/Assistant Rector II who handles the field of finance, especially in some colleges simultaneously in the field of planning, human resources, and infrastructure facilities that influence the performance of their respective institutions. But on the other hand, his existence is directly proportional to the legal consequences he will bear. Therefore, according to his understanding of the rules of the game supporting performance is very important. “I hope this pandemic does not reduce the quality of PTN work in all its performance indicators, let’s make a big leap during this pandemic with intelligence and logic creativity to achieve better performance in the field of state financial management,” he concluded.
