Singaraja – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) as one of the providers of higher education in Buleleng Regency and providing public services, received 200 Covid-19 Vaccines. The first phase of vaccination was held at the Undiksha Auditorium Building, Wednesday (10/3/2021) for Undiksha Principals from the Rector, Vice Rectors, Deans, Heads of Department, and Study Program Coordinators as well as several educational staffs.
Rector of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd. sent his appreciation to the Regional Secretary of the Province of Bali, the Government Secretary and the Head of Health Department of Buleleng Regecny for prioritizing Undiksha in vaccine distribution. As an appreciation, Jampel revealed that Undiksha, which has medical teams, plans to create a vaccinator group that will help the next vaccination process, either for Undiksha or for the Buleleng society.
He emphasized that this vaccination is one of Undiksha programs to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The next vaccinations will be carried out again and will involve other lecturers and staffs. This is due to the plan for conducting offline course that can begin in July 2021.
The Secretary of the Buleleng Covid-19 Task Force, Gede Suyasa, came and conducted monitoring for this Vaccination. He said that the certain vaccination for the Government Employers is as much as 25 percent of the total target of the second phase vaccination. Even though they have taken vaccinations, people in Buleleng Regency are expected to maintain to be discipline in implementing the Covid-19 prevention protocol. (PR)
