Singaraja- The Ganesha University of Education Integrated Health Laboratory building which was built with State Sharia Securities (SBSN) funds was soft-launched by the Director General of Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia, Luky Alfirman, Friday (26/11/2021). He who represents the Deputy Minister of Finance hopes that this building can support the development of education at Undiksha, especially the Faculty of Medicine.
On this occasion, Luky Alfirman conveyed that the construction of this laboratory was one of the SBSN projects in the education sector, with the financing being carried out by means of a Single Year Contract (SYC) in 2021 with a total allocation of IDR 99.94 billion. This development is a form of embodiment of the Government’s strong commitment to human resource development through the education sector. “So please the management, the rectorate can continue to be committed to maintaining this building as well as possible, so that we can provide as much benefit as possible, as much as possible. This development is a form of government commitment. The government exists for the people,” he said.
He further stated that project financing through SBSN is a policy synergy between the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, and other ministries/agencies. In its development, SBSN project financing has shown quite an encouraging trend. This is reflected in the increasing project financing both in terms of the number of Ministries/Institutions that are project initiators, the value of the allocated financing, the number of projects built, as well as based on the distribution of project implementing units and project locations.
Meanwhile, the Chancellor of Undiksha, I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., said that with enthusiasm to become a trendsetter and an internationally reputable university, this cannot be separated from the support of adequate infrastructure. The existence of this laboratory development assistance is also highly appreciated because it is believed that it will have an impact on improving the quality of learning. “Regarding that, we as the Chancellor promised here in the public service system, to make this building able to provide quality output. Without good infrastructure, it will reduce the process, it will definitely reduce output,” he said.
It was also said, in the context of developing Undiksha, there was still a need to increase a number of infrastructure. Therefore, it is hoped that there will be attention from the government, including that further development can be carried out with funds from SBSN.
Apart from the soft launching of the integrated health laboratory building, the activity was continued with a public lecture. On this occasion, the Director General of Financing and Risk Management at the Ministry of Finance, Luky Alfirman, delivered material on economic dynamics and policy responses during a pandemic.
