Ganesha University of Education again fielded In-Service PPL PPG students and Dasus Regional Teachers who were accepted by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. The number reached 330 people. Those who have the status of teachers not only come from Bali, but also from Kalimantan, Sulawesi, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). His handover to school took place in the Ganesha III Room, Undiksha Rectorate, on Tuesday (6/11/2018).
Head of the Undiksha PPL Center, Dewa Bagus Sanjaya, explained that there were 53 schools in Buleleng Regency that were invited to collaborate in launching this program, starting from Special Schools (SLB), Elementary Schools, Middle Schools, and High School/Vocational Schools. The student will undergo orientation, and guided and independent training. “This lasted two weeks. No exams. “The grades are obtained from tutors and supervisors,” he explained.
Through this program, students are expected to be more professional in the teaching and learning process. “Through this, they are expected to practice professionally. Even though he has become a teacher,” he said. He also added that the number of PPL PPG participants tends to increase every year. “The number tends to increase. “Mr Vice Rector I said, there will be more participants coming,” he added.
Deputy Chancellor I Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Arnyana, M.Si., said that currently, Undiksha has 22 fields of study approved for PPG. “This was assigned by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. “The minimum number of people taking part in PPG is 20 people, according to the group,” he explained. It is also hoped that through this the name Undiksha can become increasingly known to a wider audience. “After participating in PPG, Undiksha became the participant’s alma mater. “We hope that after returning, we can promote Undiksha too,” he hoped.
Apart from positions, the largest university in North Bali also fields PPL PPG Pre-service and SM3T students. Finally, the handover of participants by the school took place on October 21, 2018, totaling 105 people from seven departments and in collaboration with 15 schools from elementary to high school in Buleleng Regency.
