Singaraja– Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) has strengthened the implementation of comprehensive exams for participants in Category I 2022 In-service Teacher Professional Education (PPG Daljab). This was discussed at a coordination meeting, Wednesday (17/8/2022).
This meeting was attended by all admins, committees, and coordinators of related fields of study. PPG Undiksha Coordinator, Drs. I Gede Nurjaya, M.Pd., explained that the comprehensive exam is a determining step for participants to be able to take part in the Field Experience Practice (PPL) which is scheduled to start on August 25, 2022. “If the exam is not passed, participants cannot take part in the PPL,” he explained.
He further stated that the comprehensive exams will be held for two days, namely on 21 and 22 August 2022. In response to that, during the meeting which took place at the Sunari Hotel, Lovina, Buleleng, the team of examiners was also mapped out. Undiksha is actually used to it and has experience in carrying out this test. However, preparations are still being finalized, both in terms of examiner readiness, technical readiness, as well as admin and committee readiness. “As I said, don’t let us slip because of small pebbles,” he said.
The online exam is planned to be monitored by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. Nurjaya expressed his appreciation for this and hoped to receive input to realize a better and better quality PPG implementation. “It is an honor for Undiksha to be visited by the Director General of GTK, even though it is online to enter the room of each PPG implementer. Each class will be observed. It is a pride for us. So he knows very well how we carry out PPG,” he said.
In addition, the comprehensive examination material is related to the educational process at the stage of material deepening activities and the development of learning tools.
The Head of Undiksha’s Bureau of General Affairs and Finance, Ni Luh Wayan Yasmiati, S.H., M.Pd., who represents the Chancellor hopes that the implementation of this exam will later run smoothly, without any problems, so that Undiksha can always be entrusted with implementing PPG and can be an example for higher education institutions other. He also reminded me about reporting, both finances and the implementation of learning can be well prepared.
For information, there were 1,145 comprehensive exam participants consisting of Balinese, Indonesian, English, Guidance and Counseling, Science, Mathematics, PGPAUD, PGSD, Physical and Health Education, Pancasila and Citizenship Education, Fine Arts, and Engineering. Computers and Informatics.(hms)
