Badung – The Management Team for the Professional Teacher Education (PPG) program in 2021 at the University of Education of Ganesha (Undiksha) conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to evaluate and prepare accountability for program implementation on 28 to 30 December 2021. This activity presented the Auditor Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology, Yusniar Marhaeni as the guest speaker.
In the FGD that took place in Kuta, Badung Regency, Marhaeni said that the program implementation accountability report must be fulfilled by each implementer, especially regarding finance. She emphasized that the preparation of evidence of accountability must refer to the applicable regulations. In addition, it must also be supported by complete and good documents so that during an inspection it can be facilitated and potential findings during an audit can be minimized or anticipated.
Delivered further, the findings that often arise from financial accountability are usually related to excess spending so the recommendation given is a return to the state treasury. “It would be troublesome if there were findings that would lead to a return to the State Treasury,” she said.
She hopes that the preparation of accountability reports will always receive assistance from the Internal Supervisory Unit (SPI). The PPG management team is reminded of the completeness that must be met prior to an examination by the external auditor. “SPI’s job is as an early warning system before we go to the Inspectorate General and finally maybe BPK,” added Marhaeni.
The PPG Undiksha management team expressed their gratitude for the material provided related to risk mitigation. Through this, it is hoped that the PPG implementation accountability report for 2021, especially from the financial aspect, will be better than before and there will be no problems. (hms)
