Singaraja- The political temperature in the country ahead of the 2024 elections is starting to rise. Along with this, the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd again asked all staff, both ASN and non-ASN, to maintain neutrality. “Show that Undiksha’s ASN and Non-ASN can be role models concerning our neutrality in this political celebration,” he said starting his remarks commemorating Youth Pledge Day, Saturday (28/10/2023).
This affirmation of neutrality is also a follow-up to circular letters from the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform and the Ministry of Education and Culture. “Our political participation is highly expected to exercise our rights as citizens. “But don’t show partiality because that is by the ASN Law,” he stressed again.
Through the commemoration of the 95th Youth Pledge Day, Chancellor Prof. Lasmawan also expressed his appreciation to the entire academic community, lecturers, staff, and students as well as community support for the work that has been carried out. Undiksha is currently in the process of becoming a Legal Entity State University (PTN-BH). Therefore, it still needs to be supported by improving performance quality. “Becoming a State University as a Legal Entity is something we must do, we follow the process. “But behind all that, commitment to support and synergy by all of us is needed,” he said.
