Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is again accepting students for the Independent Student Exchange (PMM) program. The 4th student reception took place at the Undiksha Auditorium, on Tuesday (20/2/2024). On this day, Undiksha also released students who took part in the same program at other universities.
This event was attended by Undiksha Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., accompanied by Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Finance and General Prof. Dr. I Wayan Artanayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd., and Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Student Affairs, Public Relations and Undiksha Alumni Prof. Dr. I Ketut Sudiana, M.Kes.
PMM is one of the programs that translate the Independent Campus Learning Program (MBKM) issued by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) to provide opportunities for students to study outside their study program and outside their home university to obtain experience under PMM’s tagline, namely “Exchanging Temporarily, Meaningful Forever”.
This program has been implemented 4 times and Undiksha has always been one of the universities participating in the program. This year, Undikaha accepted 307 inbound students and 34 outbound students.
Undiksha Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rasben Dantes expressed his appreciation to students who had made up their minds to choose Undiksha as their PMM destination. Through this program, it is hoped that students can make good use of the opportunity to learn many new things have a spirit of unity, and love diverse Indonesia more. This means that you not only study academic areas but also things related to social culture through the Indonesian archipelago module course. “I hope that the PMM tagline will come true at Undiksha,” he said.
In this program, Indonesian module lecturers are also asked to be able to design various activities for PMM students so they can get to know the culture, especially those in Bali.
The student welcoming and dismissal event was also attended by the Head of the Planning and Cooperation Bureau, the Head of the Academic and Student Affairs Bureau, the Deans, and the lecturers who taught the Indonesian module. (hms)
