Singaraja- The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences or Fakultas Matematikan dan IPA (FMIPA) of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) held a Focus Group Discussion on the Work Program and Budget Preparation for 2024, Monday (13/2/2023). Optimizing the achievement of Key Performance Indicators is a priority program.
All relevant stakeholders in the faculty attended the discussion that took place in the FMIPA Seminar Room. The Committee head, Dr. I Wayan Puja Astawa, S.Pd., M.Stat.Sci said that this activity is routinely carried out yearly to equalize perceptions about the programs to be implemented and the draft budget allocation in 2024. “This activity certainly has a purpose, which is to arrange the best work program, which is carried out to achieve the vision and mission of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences,” he explained.
The program designed in the future is expected to contribute to optimizing the achievement of Key Performance Indicators, especially at the faculty level. “We chose this theme because there are several achievements of the Main Performance Indicators that need to be optimized,” added Puja Astawa.
This activity was opened by the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Public Relations, and Alumni, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd. He, who represented the Rector, supported the faculty in optimizing the achievement of Key Performance Indicators. In his direction, he also requested that the program design refers to Undiksha’s vision. “Undiksha’s vision is to become a leading university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia by 2045. So Undiksha’s vision is excellent, which means it has a positive meaning, able to compete both graduates, lecturers, and also the institution. Excellence is our reference. Then Tri Hita Karana, so all activities carried out must refer to the Tri Hita Karana philosophy. This means harmony with God, harmony with others, and harmony with nature,” he said.
Another reference is the Rector’s work contract with the Dean. On this occasion, he also invited FMIPA to optimize asset management to support Undiksha as a Public Service Agency, realize excellent service, increase the number of superior accredited study programs, and strive to increase the number of students for all study programs. “I hope FMIPA Undiksha can be even more enthusiastic, even more fluttering,” he concluded.
