Singaraja –Unknowingly, the PERMATA-SAKTI Program (Information Technology-based Credit Transfer System Student Exchange) in 2020 has entered its third month. As it is known that the program, which is one of the implementation activities of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka, is being carried out fully online due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Along with the implementation of monitoring and evaluation of this program, there were several challenges faced by the implementing committee, course lecturers, and students participating in PERMATA-SAKTI.
As stated by the Chairperson of the PERMATA-SAKTI 2020 Undiksha Committee, Dr. I Gde Wawan Sudatha, S.Pd., S.T., M.Pd. that this program is a challenge in itself for the online learning system by Undiksha. “PERMATA-SAKTI 2020 is the first time it has been fully online, so no participants sit in on the destination campus. This is where it becomes a challenge for Undiksha and also supporting lecturers to provide maximum service through online learning,” he said.
Met in his office, Monday (30/11/2020) Wawan also said that PERMATA-SAKTI 2020 Online learning until the third month had been going well, and even received appreciation from other tertiary students who took part in the PERMATA-SAKTI program at Undiksha. “From the point of view of online learning, there are no significant problems during learning because supporting lecturers and students are used to online learning,” he said.
However, along the way, several participants withdrew from the 2020 Permata-Sakti Program. Wawan really regrets that this has happened. According to him, there are many benefits to be gained from this program. “It is deeply regretted. It is through PERMATA-SAKTI that participants can get to know the academic climate of other tertiary institutions and get to know the local culture,” said the Acting Head of the Undiksha Online Learning Center.
Next, by collaborating with BEM-REMA and Regional Arts UKM, in the PERMATA-SAKTI program there will also be a Culture class, where students from other tertiary institutions will receive material related to customs, the basics of dance, gamelan, and Balinese songs, as well as tourism destinations in Bali online. “That way, students will feel the atmosphere of life in Bali, even though currently it is done online. We from the committee also try to prepare the material as much as possible, “he concluded. (adm)
