Singaraja- Re-registration of prospective students who passed the 2019/2020 State Higher Education Entrance Joint Selection (SBMPTN) at the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) took place on 26 and 27 July 2019. Prospective students in the various study programs are expected to be able to demonstrate quality. This was conveyed by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd after carrying out monitoring.
The former Dean of the Undiksha Faculty of Education (FIP) said at the SBMPTN, there were 1,295 out of 4,970 applicants who passed. They come not only from the Bali region but also from various regions in Indonesia. “Today there are for the Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences, and Faculty of Sports and Health. Prospective students are around 400 people. Earlier the information that re-registered was more than 80 percent. We hope all of them will register,” he said.
In this registration, there are also bidikmisi recipients. According to the data, 234 out of 445 applicants passed the verification. The scholarship is one of the government’s supports in the success of the education of the younger generation who will become the next generation of the nation. “Undiksha also offers public education costs. We want all levels of society to reach out. We also encourage prospective students to show quality,” he said.
Specifically for the implementation of registration, it is said that it has been going well, there are no credits. It is hoped that the same thing will happen on the second day of registration. “The re-registration process has been well organized. There are stages. So there’s no cheating,” he said. In addition to the SBMPTN, Undiksha will also carry out re-registration for prospective students who pass through the Independent Entrance Joint Entrance Selection (SMBJM) whose results will be announced on July 31, 2019.
