Singaraja – Ganesha University of Education (UNDIKSHA) conducted a signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Guangxi Normal University. It was held on Friday, June 9, 2017, at 11:00 am, in the Rector Office of Undiksha.
Rector of UNDIKSHA, Dr. Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd said that the partnership between UNDIKSHA and Guangxi Normal University was intended to establish cooperation in the academic and cultural fields between the two universities.
“We hope this MoU will be a starting point for both parties to explore the potential of collaboration between Undiksha and GuangXi Normal University, especially in terms of student exchange, faculty staff and educators exchange, join degree, join research, and join publication” explained Rector . The Rector added that the cooperation with Guangxi Normal University would be the first step in proposing Mandarin Language Department at Ganesha University of Education.
This is in line with what was stated by the delegations from Guangxi Normal University, that the MoU was to promote mutually beneficial cooperation between UNDIKSHA and Guangxi Normal University. They said they were very enthusiastic in assisting the establishment of the Mandarin Language Department at Ganesha University of Education. Later on, it was expected to expand further collaboration of lecturers, students and educators in terms of research, learning, and the improvement of academic service quality.
The event which was conduted around 2 hours was attended by the Rector of UNDIKSHA, Chairwoman of the Office of International Affairs and Cooperation, Chairwoman of International Affairs, along with staff of the cooperation office, and delegations from Guangxi Normal University. (-asd-)
