Undiksha has launched the Field Experience (PPL) and Field Work Practice (PKL) programs abroad in recent years, including in 2019. This has received a positive response from students. One of them, I Putu Alit Indra Baskara from the English Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Arts. This student from Ubud, Gianyar went to the Philippines for the January-February period. “Of course, I am very proud to be able to take part in this program,” he said while attending the briefing, Wednesday (2/1/2019).
According to him, this program is not only to meet the demands of college. More than that, it also adds insight into the educational patterns implemented by universities abroad. Through this, eighth-semester students can build wider connections. “I really support it. This includes parents too. “It also costs money,” he said. To qualify for the program, he had to compete with many students. However, he admitted that there was no special preparation. “Just normal. Just follow the steps. “There was no special preparation,” he said.
The experience of exploring the world abroad was not his first. In 2016, I also had the opportunity to take part in a cultural exchange in Thailand for two weeks. “I’ve wanted to go abroad since elementary school. “Hopefully these PKL and PPL abroad can continue to operate and their goals will be further expanded,” he added.
