Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) won a national award. The award was given by the Ministry of Education, Research Culture, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) for the best Budget Performance Value (NKA) in 2021. Undiksha won the first best award in the Public Service Agency (BLU) category. In addition, the largest campus in North Bali also won the third-best award in the 2021 Government Agency Performance Accountability System (SAKIP). The awarding took place online, Tuesday (15/3/2022) afternoon. This event was immediately filled with the direction of the Minister of Education and Research and Technology, Nadiem Anwar Makarim.
At the NKA award, Undiksha received a score of 94.89 with a very good predicate. Whereas in SAKIP, it received a score of 83.93 with the title A. Undiksha Chancellor, I Nyoman Jampel proudly welcomed this achievement. According to him, this is the result of the joint work of the entire Undiksha academic community in harmony. He stressed, this predicate is not the end, but is the beginning of responsibility and performance bills that will get better in the future. “Hopefully this momentum can further motivate all Undiksha residents to perform better in all dimensions of institutional achievement,” he said.
It was said further, in the performance of financial management, Undiksha always adheres to the regulations and policies that have been set by the ministry, while still trying to synergize all the potential resources that exist in harmony. As an effort to improve future budget execution performance, strategic steps have been prepared, including ensuring that each personal financial manager is competent and skilled in their field and optimizing the management and input of online-based budget performance in the Performance Planning, Evaluation, and Accountability System application. (SPASIKITA) and the Institutional Level Financial Application System (SAKTI) to the fullest. In addition, improving and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOP) at every level, and improving and ensuring that E-Planing and E-Budgeting are actually implemented optimally. “This is the breath of every person at every level, while still prioritizing the nobility of the values of Tri Hita Karana with the estuary of harmony as Undiksha’s vision has been set,” he emphasized.

It was stated that the Ministry of Education and Culture succeeded in obtaining the SAKIP title and the best budget performance two times in a row. This achievement, he continued, must be grateful for and used as a reminder to continue to improve the quality of performance, especially regarding the independent learning policy which has entered its third year. “So we have to maximize the efforts that have been made to transform the education system,” he asked.
One of the important pillars for realizing educational transformation is accountable governance and efficient use of the budget. Therefore, said Nadim Makarim, there are two things that need to be strengthened. First, ministries, work units, and work units must further improve performance accountability in program planning. Second, it must ensure that the use of the budget is truly for the benefit of the community. Both of these will be realized through the strengthening of a participatory, transparent, and accountable governance system.
“In one thing that is no less important, we must always prioritize mutual cooperation, cooperation, collaboration in every activity. Because if gotong royong becomes the foundation in every work, I’m sure it will make the learning independence movement bigger, stronger, and more simultaneous,” he added.
