Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) students again won national-level achievements. Namely Desi Yunitasari and her twins, Devi Yusvitasari and Luh Intan Purnama Dewi. The three who are part of one team are students from the Legal Sciences Department, Faculty of Law and Social Sciences (FHIS) who won second place in the debate that took place at Muhammadiyah University, Yogyakarta, on March 9, 2019.
This achievement was conveyed to the Vice Chancellor for Student and Alumni Affairs, Dr. I Gusti Ngurah Pujawan, M.Kes in his office, Friday (22/3/2019). Devi Yusvitasari said the competition had the theme “The Future of Accounting Working Field on Facing Industrial Revolution 4.0 Era”. Even though he is majoring in Law, her desire to take part is very big. Preparations were carried out carefully, starting from collecting various materials to debating. They are even willing to stay up late. “Especially before the debate. We prepared until evening. Frequent discussions,” she explained.
In this prestigious event, they had to compete with superior teams, such as those from Brawijaya University and Gadjah Mada University. Thanks to his abilities, the team was eliminated. “At that time there were eight teams participating. “During the semifinals with Universitas Brawijaya and in the qualifying with UGM,” she said. This achievement is under the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB). “Our target is to take part in other competitions,” she said.
Especially for Desi Yunitasari and Devi Yusvitasari, have previously succeeded in achieving a number of national-level achievements. Those who have made Undiksha’s name proud were also given awards by the chancellor, in addition to successfully receiving scholarships from Bank Indonesia. “Because studying is a difficult way, I try to continue to excel,” said Devi.
Meanwhile, Intan Purnama Dewi admitted that this was her first time taking part in the competition. This second-semester student also wants to try his luck in other competitions. “At this time I also took part in the PKM competition on campus. You can also win,” she said. Vice-Rector, Gusti Pujawan appreciated the student’s achievement.
