Singaraja- The development of an integrated health laboratory at the Ganesha University of Education continues. The project with funds sourced from State Sharia Securities (SBSN) is monitored by the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), Tuesday (15/6/2021). The progress of the lab construction which is located on the central campus is considered quite positive because there are always deviations every month. This monitoring is filled with exposure from project implementers and construction management. On this occasion, it was explained that the realization of development had reached 45.15 percent. This figure is higher than the target of 33.17 percent or there is a deviation of 11.97 percent. With regard to construction, it is stated that it has entered the topping off and will then proceed to the architectural stage. The executors are optimistic that the construction can be completed on time.
Head of SBSN Sub Directorate of the Directorate of Bappenas Funding, Sugeng Wahyu Hendarto said that based on the results of his monitoring, he assessed that the development progress was quite good, moreover, there were deviations. It is hoped that this can be maintained, especially the accuracy of project implementation so that it becomes a positive impression and a reference for Bappenas for planning and funding when there are new proposals from Undiksha later. “This shows that Undiksha is capable of carrying out this project,” he said.
In line with the Associate Expert Planner of the Directorate of Higher Education and Science and Technology Bappenas, Kalihputro Fachriansyah. Based on the monitoring results, the progress of the Undiksha SBSN project is quite good and in accordance with the plan. “It is our hope that the campuses that have received infrastructure assistance can really do well, considering that the planning process for this project is also very long. Starting from the selection of several campuses, then the most prepared campus is selected. And Undiksha is one of the priority campuses,” he said.
He also asked not to be delayed in this development. Efforts to accelerate development are asked to continue to be carried out by executors, provided that they do not reduce quality. “Hopefully we can use (the building-red) next year. The sooner the better, so students can quickly use it,” he said.
Meanwhile, Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Administration, Finance, and Human Resources (PAK-SDM), Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan said that Undiksha was the first university that had won SBSN funding for the commitment to maintain quality and ensure that the rhythm of implementing this project could be on time and when it was finished it could be used as planned. “Based on the evaluation results from the Bappenas team and the SBSN team, overall, it is stated that the implementation of the SBSN project at Undiksha has been good. Even seen from the side of the target, it has exceeded the set. Of course, this is not something that can catch us off guard and make us ignore,” he said.
On the other hand, currently, Undiksha is trying to make improvements in various lines, especially related to increasing the quality and quantity of learning facilities and infrastructure, one of which is the procurement of new classrooms and the provision of new laboratories. It is hoped that this will also receive support from the central government. Bappenas stated that it is open to any proposals, as long as they are included in the priorities and are urgent in nature for needs they will always be supported as much as possible. (hms)
