Singaraja – The performance of Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) in 2019 until the first semester showed a positive trend. Some have already exceeded the target. Others are also still on the track. This was revealed in a joint leadership meeting with the Supervisory Board of the Public Service Agency at the Inna Kuta Hotel, Badung Regency, on Friday (5/7/2019).
Deputy Chancellor II Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., in his presentation, achievements that exceeded the target occurred for competency and professionally certified graduates at 88 percent out of 80 percent. The A-accredited study program achieved a target of 9 percent, achieving 12 percent. Likewise, the institutional accreditation is A. The same thing also happened to lecturers with doctoral qualifications, the achievement was 37 percent, from the target of 36 percent. Lecturers with professorships also do the same. The achievement was 9.8 percent of the target of 8.5 percent.
Meanwhile, for those still on track, the number of international publications has only reached 37 percent of the target of 95 titles. The achievement of lecturers with the position of associate professor has only reached 29 percent of the target of 32 percent of the total number of lecturers which reached 447 people. “Until the second quarter of 2019, Undiksha’s performance was on track in accordance with what had been planned and what was targeted,” he explained.
At that meeting, Denwas provided several inputs with the aim of accelerating the realization of the performance that had become a contract with the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education. Regarding this, Lasmawan stated that he would immediately follow up and coordinate with all faculties. “This was also conveyed immediately to the Chancellor. “We continue to strive to accelerate the realization of the program,” he added.
Chairman of Denwas, Moch. Wiwin Darwina, S.E., M.Si., said that the performance absorption of universities that have a Faculty of Medicine is close to the national average. They also believe that all targets have been achieved because there is still one semester left. “Now we have just entered the second semester. I think it will be achieved. “Accreditation can also increase,” he explained. (hms)
