Singaraja- The Voluntary Disclosure Programme (PPS) in accordance with Law Number 7 of 2022, which has been ratified concerning the Harmonization of Tax Regulations by the Singaraja Pratama Tax Service Office, which took place in Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha), Thursday (6/23/2022). The socialization held in Ganesha III Rectorat Hall was officially opened by Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Public Relations, and Undiksha Alumni Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd.
In his remarks, the Vice-Rector, who once served as Director of the Postgraduate Programme, appreciated the holding of this socialization at Undiksha. His party conveyed that this socialization was very important to be understood by the entire academic community to properly know the current tax system because every taxpayer must contribute to the nation and state.
Furthermore, Undiksha continues to be committed to supporting this PPS. “Undiksha supports positively because, with PPS, this is the second amnesty,” he explained. Therefore, he hopes that the entire Undiksha academic community can immediately give a follow-up on this programme.
On the other hand, the Functional Extension Officer of the Singaraja Pratama Tax Service Office, Suwisman Ariyanto, who was accompanied by an Account Representative, Bharita, explained that this socialization was to provide opportunities for all taxpayers, both individuals ,and legal entities or business entities, to be able to take advantage of PPS. “There is still less than 10 days left to hold this PPS programme, whether it is policy I or policy II,” he explained.
He added that PPS is one of the instruments made by the Directorate General of Taxes to ensure the correctness of the data submitted by taxpayers. Therefore, after this socialization, it is hoped that all taxpayer participants will be better, starting from submitting annual notification letters (SPT) on time, calculating income correctly, and not being late in making payments.
