Singaraja – Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) as one of the Public Service Bodies (BLU) has succeeded in obtaining three Unqualified Opinions (WTP) from the Indonesian Financial Audit Agency (BPK-RI). Namely, in 2016, 2017, and 2018. However, this university which already has a medical faculty continues to maximize financial management.
Deputy Chancellor II Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd., said that financial governance fully refers to the policies outlined by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education and the Ministry of Finance. In its operations, Undiksha has developed an online-based system. “This system is already running,” he said. The steps taken are to answer the current challenges regarding accountability, transparency, effectiveness, and efficiency. “As a result, Undiksha received a fair rating without exception three times in a row. Of course, the productivity of managed state money has gone well. “We are trying to continue to maintain WTP,” he said.
It cannot be denied that in implementing online-based financial governance, sometimes there are still obstacles in Human Resources (HR). In response to this, evaluation continues to be carried out on an ongoing basis. In terms of supervision, it has also been tightened. “Implementing this online system is a must. “We continue to strive to maximize it,” said this academic from Kintamani, Bangli.
Apart from finance, Undiksha is also boosting the implementation of online systems for personnel management and other administration related to student affairs. “We want to work with this system, it will be more effective. “It can be faster, one way is to answer the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0,” he added.
