The activity which took place in the Rectorate III Room was opened by Undiksha Deputy Chancellor II, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. On this occasion the Head of the General Affairs and Finance Bureau, the Head of the AKPK Bureau, and heads of related sections and units along with staff were present. The resource persons presented were the Head of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education I Kemenristekdikti, Irvan Yuliastono, and from BMN, Agus Santoso and Angga Kusuma.
On the sidelines, Prof. Lasmawan said the breakthrough was taken in order to strengthen staff understanding, especially those related to how to design and compile the components of financial statements and state property. “For this reason, I immediately asked the bureau to invite resource persons from the center. To be able to provide an understanding,” he said.
The Vice-Chancellor, who is also the Chairman of Warek II Forum throughout Indonesia, did not deny that until now there were still errors in reporting regional finances and property. Of course, this is not desirable to continue because it can affect the results of the audit of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). “With the presence of this resource person, we hope to get input to be better,” he said.
Strengthening the governance of state finances and property is also one of the efforts to maintain an Unqualified Opinion (WTP) from BPK RI which Undiksha has won consecutively in the last three years. “Of course, this is part of maintaining it. It’s not easy for us to get. Defending is also not easy, “he added.
