Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) held a graduation ceremony for LXX, Friday (31/3/2023). Through this moment, graduates from various study programs are invited to be adaptive to change.
This graduation was attended by 769 graduates from D3, S1, S2, and S3 education levels. Of these, 47 of them are Bachelor of Medicine.
Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., said that Undiksha is committed to always contributing in order to produce Superior, competent, and Pancasila-character Human Resources (HR) in order to create a better Indonesia in the future. As a tertiary institution, Undiksha is currently improving to always improve its quality, both in the fields of education and teaching, research, and community service.
During their studies, graduates are equipped with knowledge, skills, technology, and life values, with the hope that they will be able to get decent jobs and be able to create jobs, continue to be motivated to improve their quality of life and be useful and of value to families and society. “We hope that these graduates can successfully navigate the stages of forming the next superior human resources, both at the next level of education and in the world of work,” he hoped.
These graduates are expected to become resilient individuals who are ready to face and overcome a future that is vulnerable to fast change. Therefore, it is necessary to continue to develop and master 21st-century skills. Apart from technological competence, another skill is critical thinking. By obtaining a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree, you must prioritize yourself as a mind of analysis. Besides that, it must increase creativity. Graduates must be able to change something of low value into something of high value. “So the creativity they got during lectures maybe they can use in other steak holders,” he said. Other skills emphasized are collaboration and communication. “If it is mastered, then it can face any challenges in the future,” he added.
He added, along the way, Undiksha had achieved various achievements, both related to institutional governance and specifically related to academic and non-academic fields. This achievement is considered inseparable from the support and role of the graduates. It is hoped that the spirit of achievement can continue to grow to realize Undiksha as a Trend-setter and International Reputable University and realize the vision of “Becoming an Excellent University Based on the Tri Hita Karana Philosophy in Asia in 2045.
