Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) has a new professor or professor. He is Dra. Luh Putu Artini, M.A., Ph.D. The Decree from the center was handed over by the Chancellor, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd in his office, on Friday (14/6/2019).
Putu Artini, who has been part of Undiksha since 1989, admitted that he did not expect this good news. “I think the Chancellor called me because there was a file repair. “It turns out that a decree was given,” she said when confirmed outside the room.
Obtaining this title is admittedly not an easy matter. This academic, who received her doctorate in 2006, experienced failure several times due to deficiencies in his files and changes in regulations. However, this did not make her discouraged. The steps to make her wish come true are still very big. “The leadership at the institution is also very supportive. “That’s what keeps me motivated,” she said.
This short-haired woman increased the number of professors at the largest university in North Bali to 43 people. What she achieved did not make her immediately stop walking. Her commitment to work is still firmly held. Likewise for serving the institution. “I got a lot from the institution,” she said.
The Chancellor, Nyoman Jampel, said that the number of professors at universities that already have medical faculties is continuing to increase. This is very important to support institutional rankings at both national and international levels, as well as accelerate the realization of Undiksha’s vision as a superior university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia by 2045. “We continue to encourage this, including balancing it with scientific publications,” he said. Supporting this target, Undiksha has also formed a special team to accelerate professors. The team intensively provides assistance to lecturers who submit proposals. (hms)
