Singaraja– Another proud achievement was achieved by students of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha). The achievement comes from the Scientific Writing Competition of Education and Sharing Movement of Udayana Knights or Lomba Karya Tulis Ilmiah Gerak Edukasi dan Berbagi Ksatria Udayana (GEBRAK LKTI) organized by Student Executive Board-President of Student or Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Presiden Mahasiswa (BEM-PM) Universitas Udayana, 15 October 2022.
In the competition, which was attended by students of universities in Bali, the Undiksha team consisted of Kadek Nova Suadnyana from the History Education Study Program, Ni Made Rida Divayani from the History Education Study Program, I Made Bawadi Adistanaya from the Sociology Education Study Program, and Kadek Faldy Dwi Surastawan from Diploma III Library study program successfully won 1st place. This achievement was delivered by a work of a history learning media called Digi-History.
The team leader, Nova Suadnyana, explained that the work was motivated by a phenomenon in a society that considers history lessons not too important for the student’s future. In addition, many students complained that history lessons were only lectures between teachers and students and were considered boring. Therefore, the team took the initiative to create a digital learning media innovation called Digi-History based on QR Code.
Preparation to take part in this event took about one month, under the lecturer’s guidance, I Putu Hendra Mas Martayana, S.Pd., M.A. “Very happy because I had the opportunity to convey ideas and was trusted to be the first winner,” he said.
This achievement received appreciation from the leadership of Undiksha. Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Public Relations, and Alumni of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Suastra, M.Pd., said that this achievement could support Undiksha’s ranking in the Student Rating Management System, in addition to increasing student competitiveness. “We are led by the hope that in the future student achievement will increase. Likewise, there are more and more outstanding students,” he said. (hms)
