Singaraja- Registration for new student admissions for the 2019/2020 academic year through the Joint Selection for Entrance to State Universities (SBMPTN) has been open from 10 June and continues until 24 June, including for the Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha). Due to this, participants who have previously taken the Computer Based Writing Examination (UTBK) are expected not to miss out. “We hope that applicants who have taken UTBK can continue to register for SBMPTN. “It has been opened,” said Undiksha Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Arnyana, M.Sc., Monday (10/6/2019).
The quota for student admissions at the largest state university in North Bali through SBMPTN is 40 percent of the total number of around 3,000 people. “This pathway is only for undergraduate programs. “In Undiksha the quota is around 1,200 people,” he explained. In this route, applicants can choose a maximum of two PTNs and choose a maximum of two study programs in one PTN or two PTNs. Prof. Arnyana hopes that as many applicants as possible can choose Undiksha. “We hope that there will be a large number of applicants at Undiksha. “That way, the quality of students will be better because the selection has to be fiercely competitive,” he said, adding that the announcement of the election results is scheduled for July 9, 2019.
It was further stated that for student admissions, Undiksha also opened a Joint Entrance Selection Independent Path through Computer Best Testing (CBT). Registration is from June 17 to July 19. This pathway is intended for D-3 and S-1 study programs. “This is online registration. “CBT is scheduled for July 26-27 and graduation announcements will be July 30,” he added. (hms)
