Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) is again implementing an international program. This time in collaboration with the Holy Cross of Davao College, Philippines. The programs implemented consist of Field Introductory Practice (PPL), Field Work Practice (PKL), and Real Work Lectures (KKN).
This program was attended by 19 students whose presence was accepted at Undiksha, Thursday (27/4/2023) by Undiksha’s Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I., accompanied by related officials. Representatives from partner schools and villages were also present on this occasion. Students consisting of various fields of study will follow the program for two weeks.
Deputy Chancellor of Undiksha, Rasben Dantes said that the implementation of this program was a follow-up to the collaboration established between Undiksha and the Holy Cross of Davao College, Philippines in January 2023. The implementation of this international program was considered to provide experience for students from both universities. This is because Undiksha also sent a number of students to take part in the same program.
The presence of foreign students at Undiksha is expected to have a positive impact, both on students, faculties, and units. In addition, it can strengthen Undiksha as an international community learning house or internationalization at home which has been launched in 2019. “I hope this activity goes well and provides benefits to all parties,” he said.
In the future, it is hoped that Undiksha and the Holy Cross of Davao College can work together to design and carry out activities in the field of Higher Education Tri Dharma, namely Education and Teaching, Research, and Community Service. This activity is also to strengthen the relationship between the two parties. (hms)
