Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) handed back dozens of students from the Holy Cross of Davao College (HCDC), Philippines who had completed participating in international programs. The handover was carried out by the Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Cooperation of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., M.T.I, Friday (12/5/2023).
At this event, Undiksha also gave certificates to 19 students for their participation in the Field Introduction Practice (PPL), Field Work Practice (PKL), and Real Work Lecture (KKN) programs for two weeks. The implementation of the program is also in collaboration with the Undiksha Laboratory School, the Kayu Putih Village Government, Sukasada District, and the Singaraja Punia Fund Foundation.
Deputy Chancellor of Undiksha, Rasben Dantes, assessed that the presence of foreign students at Undiksha could have a positive impact and international experience, both for students, faculties, and units. In addition, it can strengthen Undiksha as a learning house for the international community or internationalization at home which has been launched in 2019.
In the future, it is hoped that Undiksha and the Holy Cross of Davao College can work together to design and carry out activities in the field of Higher Education Tri Dharma, namely Education and Teaching, Research, and Community Service. This activity is also to strengthen the relationship between the two parties. The same thing was also conveyed by the Holy Cross of Davao College. Apart from that, the program with Undiksha was considered very memorable and provided an extraordinary experience for its students.
As previously stated, the implementation of this program is a form of follow-up to the collaboration established between Undiksha and the Holy Cross of Davao College, Philippines in January 2023. Apart from accepting, Undiksha also sent a number of students to take part in the same program. (hms)
