The ADik Scholarship is an affirmative education policy intervention in the form of Government Assistance to provide learning opportunities for students because of their conditions and existence, which causes them to experience difficulties and affordability for access to higher education.
The ADIK scholarship assistance scheme in 2023 consists of ADik scholarships for Papua Region students either those recommended by the local government, ADEM student pathways, or those who register independently; students from special areas referring to Permendikbud Number 14 of 2021 concerning Amendments to Permendikbud Number 23 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Designating Special Regions in the Implementation of National Education Policy; and students of Indonesian migrant workers at the border of Indonesia.
ADik Program Recipients Requirements (Students from the Papua region, ADEM, 3T, as well as children of migrant workers)
- Indonesian citizens who are high school, vocational or equivalent students who will graduate in the current year or graduate 1 (one) a year earlier;
- Registered on the ADik SIM with complete data: Resident Identity Number (NIK), National Student Identification Number (NISN), and National School Identification Number (NPSN)
- Derived from frontier, outermost, disadvantaged (3T) areas; or Orang Asli Papua (OAP) in accordance with Law Number 21 of 2001 concerning Special Autonomy for the Province of Papua; or children of migrant workers;
- Pass selection in all new student admissions pathways at PTN or PTS in Prodi with Accreditation A or B, and it is possible with certain considerations in Prodi with Accreditation Cor Pass the ADik Selection Test (based on academic and non-academic results documents/report cards) with the following PT requirements:
- Prospective recipients from 3T areas and children of TKI can choose PTs within or outside the province;
- Prospective recipients from the Papua Region must choose PTs outside the provinces of Papua, West Papua, South Papua, Central Papua, Highlands Papua, and Southwest Papua.
- The average report card score for 6 (six) subjects according to the department for prospective selection participants is at least 75;
- The ranking of prospective recipients for ADik selection is based on the scores of 6 (six) subjects as follows:
- MajorVIOLENCE: Mathematics, Indonesian, English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology;
- MajorIPS: Mathematics, Indonesian, English, Sociology, Economics, and Geography;
- MajorLanguage: Mathematics, Indonesian, English, Indonesian Literature, Anthropology, and a foreign language;
- SMK: Mathematics, Indonesian, English, and Skills Competency (Vocational Theory and Vocational Practice).
- Students can choose a maximum of two tertiary institutions, as well as choose a maximum of two study programs at each tertiary institution;
- The choice of tertiary institution and study program states the priority of choice;
- If the choice of the study program and tertiary institution is not accepted, students can give authority to the selection committee to choose study programs and tertiary institutions according to their interests;
- Students who have been determined to have passed the ADik Scholarship selection in the previous year are not allowed to take part in the re-selection.
- In the selection process, ADik student admissions are determined by the university leaders.
ADik Program Participant Admission Pathway
- ADik Test-Path: Participants pass the ADik Selection Test
- ADik Non-Test Pathway:
- Participants pass the PT Academic or Vocational (Polytechnic) selection through SNBP or SNBT
- Participants pass the PT Academic or Vocational (Polytechnic) selection through Independent Selection
ADik Program Registration Procedure

- ParticipantTest Path registered by the district/city regional government through SIM-ADikonline or offline (for districts that have special constraints).
- ParticipantNon-Test Line Which:
- Pass SNBP Register independently via SIM-ADik online;
- SNBT participants Register independently via SIM-ADik online by including the UTBK value. Those who pass the SNBT will be included as potential participants in the ADik program according to the study program chosen at the SBNT;
- Papua Region students who study outside the province can register independently through SIM-ADikonline.
Stages of Admission Adik
- After receiving the number of quotas, the Regency/Municipal Education Office (Disdik) determines which schools will nominate students as potential ADik recipients by coordinating with the Provincial Office of Education and schools;
- Students fill out registration files with school assistance and then the school submits all registration files to the District/City Education Office;
- District/City Disdik registers via SIM-ADik automatically online or offline (for those who have special constraints) according to the quota. Students from districts receiving the ADik quota who PASS SNBP and SNBT Participants carry out independent registration via SIM-ADik automatically online;
- The implementation team of ADik Puslapdik Kemendikbudristek verifies and validates registration files;
- Higher education leaders assisted by the ADik Puslapdik implementation team of the Ministry of Education and Culture conduct the selection of ADik recipients. The determination of students receiving ADik is carried out by university leaders;
- The Head of Puslapdik Kemendikbudristek determines new students receiving ADik.
