Scientific articles from Ganesha Education University (Undiksha) lecturers published in reputable international journals since 2016 have increased quite significantly. However, the Chancellor of Undiksha, Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., was not immediately satisfied. His party continues to push for additional additions next year. This is not only important for increasing the grade of higher education, but also supporting promotions in lecturers’ positions and ranks. “This is a priority, now we are moving towards A accreditation. Last year’s weakness was in publication. “So by now having quite a lot of publications, I am confident that I can get A accreditation,” he said, on Wednesday (28/11/2018).
This increase also cannot be separated from the declaration of 2017 as the year of publication. “Since 2016 we have been planning how there will be an increase in publications, meaning that articles owned by Undiksha lecturers can be published in reputable international journals. Not haphazardly. In 2017, it was declared the year of publication. “Finally, at the end of 2018, there were hundreds of articles published in reputable international journals, whereas initially there were only 18. This is something extraordinary,” he said.
It was further stated that Udiksha will continue to boost its publications. Not just two hundred or three hundred. But as much as possible. “We don’t want to stop at one hundred, two hundred, three hundred. “But we will continue to improve as much as possible,” he stressed.
Supporting this, this university which has a Faculty of Medicine has also formed a scientific publication team. “This team can always help lecturers in the process of publishing their articles. This is also related to promotions and lecturer ranks.
