Singaraja- The Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) Alumni Family Association (IKA) carried out the inauguration of the Faculty/Postgraduate IKA management within Undiksha for the 2023-2026 period, Wednesday (25/10/2023). This momentum also serves as a space to unite commitment to support the achievement of Undiksha’s targets, one of which is to become a Legal Entity State University (PTN-BH).
The inauguration of the Management was carried out by the General Chairperson of IKA Undiksha Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd. In his direction, he said that IKA is a part of Undiksha. Therefore, we must be able to create a work program to support the acceleration of the realization of Undiksha’s vision. Activities that will be carried out in the future must be framed with Tri Hita Karana. “So every activity carried out must be in harmony with God, serve and respect others, and must also be in harmony with the environment,” he stressed.
Prof. Jampel, who currently serves as Director of the Undiksha Postgraduate Program, further emphasized that the main work program that must be created by IKA Undiksha is one that is in line with the Chancellor’s policy direction, namely making Undiksha an internationally reputable University in Education and Leadership (IRUEL) and also a Legal Entity Higher Education Institution ( PTN- BH). “So the work program created must support this,” he said.
The work program that is considered to need to be designed in the future is to strengthen the implementation or increase scientific publications. IKA Undiksha is expected to have national standard scientific journals and reputable international journals. “Our alumni must improve their quality by increasing their academic qualifications, so we have to plan this,” he explained.
Undiksha alumni have spread throughout Indonesia. Therefore, everyone is invited to take a role in promoting Undiksha to a wider audience. “So you have to hurry to advance the organization and also have a good impact on the institution. Because if the institution’s reputation is good, alumni will also be recognized nationally and internationally. “This is a relationship of take and give, give and receive,” he concluded. (hms)
