Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) was entrusted by the Buleleng Police to be involved in a Community Satisfaction Index (IKM) survey of the mainstay service program, namely the Buleleng Ngayah Police Information System (Si Poleng Ngayah). The results of the survey which began in July were presented in the Buleleng Police Command Center Room, Thursday (22/10/2020), led directly by the Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd, who was accompanied by the team. As a result, the newly initiated system is in the very good category with a score of 84.04.
Before the Head of the Buleleng Police, AKBP. I Made Sinar Subawa, Chancellor of Jampel explained that this survey refers to Menpan-RB Regulation Number 14 of 2017 concerning guidelines for community satisfaction surveys of public service providers. One indicator of good governance is the results of the SMI survey. “This is one of the basic foundations for the Buleleng Police to be established to become a corruption-free regional integrity zone institution,” he said.
Further explained, this survey was conducted through a questionnaire containing questions about variable requirements, procedures, turnaround times, costs/tariffs, specifications for types of services, executors’ competencies, executors’ behavior, complaint handling, service facilities, and infrastructure. The number of samples taken was 42 people, out of a total of 531 recipients of the Si Poleng Ngayah program. The sample resides both near and far from the service center.
The survey results show that there are 3 IKMs that are considered good, namely fees or tariffs, complaint handling, and facilities and infrastructure. While other variables are considered very good. So overall, the Si Poleng Ngayah IKM score was 84.04 in the very good category. Even though it was in the very good category, according to Jampel, efforts still needed to be improved. Among them, the delivery of information on the implementation of activities could be wider, quotas and service hours to be extended, programs were implemented regularly, especially in areas far from the city, and service was faster.
Apart from this, the Si Poleng Ngayah program is considered very positive, especially in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. So that people who are far from urban areas are helped by services without having to go all the way to the Buleleng Police. In addition to this innovative program, it is also able to become the basis for the Buleleng Police to be designated as an institution that is included in the integrity zone.
The Buleleng Police Chief, AKBP I Made Sinar Subawa appreciated the survey results from the Undiksha team. The results presented will be used as material for program evaluation. “We, the Buleleng Police, thank you for your cooperation in carrying out the survey that was carried out by the Undiksha Team. This is in line with the construction of the integrity zone by the Buleleng Police. It is hoped that the Si Poleng Ngayah program will get better and be able to run sustainably. Likewise, its reach to the community can be wider. (hms)
