Singaraja- Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) collaborates with Telkomsel to promote digital entrepreneurship among students. This collaboration was conveyed through Telkomsel’s roadshow seminar, Monday (19/12/2022).
The seminar was conducted offline at Undiksha and invited two speakers, CEO @infodenpasar and Event and Community Specialist at Telkomsel’s Educational Technology Startup Key, Mohammad Fikri Pratama. Both speakers shared material about opportunities, challenges, and tips and tricks for working in digital business. The material was listened to enthusiastically by students consisting of various study programs.
Supervisor of DSO DSL Telkomsel Bali Nusra, I Wayan Dicky Mahendra said that the Telkomsel roadshow seminar had targeted several universities to provide education for students, especially in digital business development.
The seminar was opened by Undiksha’s Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Gede Rasben Dantes, S.T., MTI. He gave appreciation to Telkomsel for collaborating to initiate this activity. According to him, the theme carried, namely “Digital Entrepreneurship: Open All Opportunities,” is very relevant to the current era of the industrial revolution 4.0. Digital technology is essential for students to master in order to face challenges and opportunities in the future. This theme is also very in line with the MBKM program, which all universities in Indonesia are currently implementing.
He hopes this seminar can provide knowledge or information to students about digital entrepreneurship and build enthusiasm and understanding that college graduates are not only looking for work but, most importantly, can open job opportunities in the future. “Therefore, with this activity, in the future, it can be followed up with several activities or programs, both academic and non-academic, with Telkomsel as our partner to later build hard skills and soft skills,” he said.
In addition to organizing seminars, the collaboration between Undiksha and Telkomsel is expected to continue, including in the teaching practitioner program as part of the implementation of Freedom to Learn-Independent Campus or Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). The program is currently running. But in the future, it is expected to be maximized to jointly realize Undiksha graduates who are superior and competitive. (hms)
