Jakarta-The performance of Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha (Undiksha) for the 2022 fiscal year was appreciated by Supervisory Board or Dewan Pengawas (Denwas). This appreciation is because, based on the evaluation results, almost all achievements exceeded the target. This result was revealed in a coordination meeting at the Century Park Hotel, Jakarta, Saturday (3/12/2022).
Head of Supervisory Board for Financial Management of Public Service Board or Pengelola Keuangan-Badan Layanan Umum (PK-BLU) Undiksha, Hamid Muhammad, who was accompanied by members, Iwan Handoko and I Wayan Cika assessed that Undiksha had achieved almost all Higher Education Key Performance Indicators or Indikator Kinerja Utama (IKU). There is only one indicator that cannot be fulfilled, namely international accreditation for study programs. However, Undiksha has proposed 21 study programs consisting of five clusters for international accreditation. “We hope that at least 5 can accredited internationally. So, if that can be fulfilled, I think Undiksha can fulfill 8 main indicators,” he said.
He added that one thing currently serious attention to is efforts to realize Undiksha as a Higher Education Institution with a Legal Entity or Perguruan Tinggi Berbadan Hukum (PTN-BH). There are several things that Undiksha needs to fulfill, including the overall assessment for PTN-BH must reach a score of 300, the number of study programs that are accredited superior is 60% of the number of study programs in Undiksha, and last, the problem of financial independence. From the various things of concern, he is optimistic that Undiksha can achieve the target. “I’m sure it can be achieved,” he explained. (hms)
