Singaraja- The Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) seeks to improve the quality of research. One of the steps taken was to establish Standard Operational Guidelines for the Research Ethics Committee (KEP), Friday (5/5/2023).
The formation of this KEP is also a form of following up on a mandate from the government which stated that all research, especially those related to health, must have research ethical feasibility documents. After the establishment of the KEP Standard Operational Guidelines, Undiksha Faculty of Medicine was able to conduct research ethical feasibility studies.
The meeting for establishing the KEP Standard Operational Guidelines was attended by all members of the FK Undiksha KEP team, the Dean of FK Undiksha represented by Deputy Dean II Dr. dr. Ni Luh Kadek Alit Arsani, S. Ked., M. Biomed. And Vice Chancellor I Undiksha represented by the Head of LPPM Undiksha Prof. Dr. Drs. I Ketut Sudiana, M.Kes. who also opens the event. The activity began with a POB presentation that had been prepared by the KEP team, discussion and ended with the ratification of the FK Undiksha POB KEP.(rls)
