Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education Postgraduate (Undiksha) continues to strive to improve the quality of education. One way to do this is by preparing relevant 2020 education guidelines. The finalization took place on Tuesday (16/6/2020) which involved the Study Program Coordinator.
On that occasion, the Rector of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd. In his briefing, he conveyed that educational guidelines were needed to determine the direction of postgraduate development in the future. Through this, it will also make it easier to formulate work programs that lead to increased competitiveness, both at the national and international levels. “Therefore, this educational guideline must be prepared carefully. Can answer the challenges in the world of education, “he said.
Delivered further, the program designed is expected to be integrated with the policy of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia regarding independent campuses and independent learning. In addition, the Higher Education Tri Dharma program also needs to be strengthened. This is also important to support the acceleration of realizing Undiksha’s vision of becoming a superior university based on the Tri Hita Karana philosophy in Asia in 2045. More and more study programs are accredited superior. Can produce qualified graduates. In addition, Undiksha can excel in Asia more quickly. We no longer have to wait until 2045,” he said.
The establishment of a prospect study program continued by Jampel, also needs to be carried out outside the Education Study Program. Currently, Postgraduate Undiksha already has a Masters in Management Study Program and is still waiting for permission to establish a Masters in Accounting Study Program. Equally important, in development efforts, cooperation with foreign universities, especially those that are in the top 100 in the world, needs to be boosted. This is considered to have an impact on the academic climate of the Postgraduate Program as well as at the university level. “The university has collaborated for the program fast track program. Postgraduate I hope to do something similar. There can be student exchanges,” he hoped.
Concluding his remarks, the Rector from Nusa Dua, Badung Regency invited all academics to always build togetherness and harmony to expedite the implementation of postgraduate and university programs. “We must always maintain this togetherness and harmony,” he concluded. Meanwhile, the Director of Postgraduate Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Gusti Putu Suharta, M.Sc., explained that the preparation of these educational guidelines was carried out through a special team.
