Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) Medical Faculty (FK) held a Focus Group Discussion, on Thursday (10/1/2019). This activity, which took place in the Ganesha III Room of the Undiksha Rectorate on Jalan Udayana Number 11 Singaraja, not only presented speakers from academic circles but also the Regent of Buleleng and tourism actors.
Chairman of the Committee, Dr. dr. Ni Luh Kadek Alit Arsani, S.Ked., M.Biomed., in the final preparation meeting, on Thursday (3/1/2019) conveyed that the FGD was a medium for gathering input in developing FK regarding the specifics of Tourism Medicine. “The resource persons were from the Buleleng Regency Government and tourism actors. “We also invited the RSU leaders in Bali, including those from FK Unud,” she explained.
According to her, constructive input is very important for the university’s Faculty of Medicine, which will soon celebrate its 26th anniversary, because it was only founded in August 2018. “As a new faculty, of course, we really need input so we can get better,” she said. At that event, his party also invited a number of school principals and student councils to provide outreach regarding the advantages of FK. “We also convey how FK Undiksha is,” she added.
Deputy Chancellor I Undiksha, Prof. Dr. Ida Bagus Putu Arnyana, M.Si., also said the same thing. It is hoped that this FGD can produce ideas that can make FK better and able to compete with other universities. “Improvements must continue to be made,” he stressed. (hms)
