Singaraja – Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) has earned the title of Financial Manager with Unqualified (WTP) status since 2016. In order to maintain this achievement, a Focus Group Discussion was held with the topic “Reconciliation and Accountability Reports for the 2021 Budget and Cash Administration”, taking place at the Aneka Hotel, Lovina – Singaraja, Thursday – Saturday (2/12/2021 – 4/12/2021) by presenting 2 speakers, the Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Treasury (DJPb) Bali Province and the Head of the Singaraja KPPN.
Deputy Chancellor for Planning, Administration, Finance, and Human Resources, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Lasmawan, M.Pd. who attended and opened the event said that this activity was a media discussion related to how to administer Undiksha’s financial and cash accountability reports. “Besides aiming to improve Undiksha’s financial management skills, it also ensures that Undiksha’s financial management is good. Since 2016, Undiksha has been awarded the title of financial administrator with WTP status. Therefore, to ensure that the meaning of WTP and Undiksha’s financial management is good, this is one accompaniment to the objectives of today’s activities,” he said.
He further conveyed, by bearing as a Public Service Agency (BLU), developing the capabilities and skills of Undiksha’s financial managers is very much needed. “If possible, this activity is routinely carried out so that the understanding and skills of our financial managers are truly upgraded through FGD activities, workshops, and seminars. Because through activities like this, they can share experiences, then they can gain new knowledge, especially from competent sources in their fields,” he said on the sidelines of the activity.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Regional Office of the DJPb Bali Province, Teguh Dwi Nugroho, S.E., M.M., as the source person acknowledged that as one of the Public Service Agencies, Undiksha’s financial management performance has been very good through the synergies that have been carried out. “Internal coordination and synergy between departments, between faculties, between financial managers, the Treasurer of receipts and expenses must continue to communicate. So, the barriers that cause financial management to run less smoothly, through consolidation and synergy, will get better,” he explained. As the BLU Supervisor for the Province of Bali, he expressed his hope that in the future the performance of Undiksha’s financial management and organization would continue to get better. “This will provide greater benefits for the province of Bali and Indonesia in general,” he said.
