Singaraja- Implementation of Basic Competency Selection for Prospective Civil Servants (SKD-CPNS) in 2021 for a number of agencies in Bali under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology which is centered at the University of Education Ganesha (Undiksha) received monitoring from the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia (ORI ) Bali Representative, Thursday (23/9/2021). The monitoring was also attended by the leadership of Udayana University, the Indonesian Art Institute (ISI) Denpasar, the Bali State Polytechnic, the Bali Province Education Quality Assurance Institute, the Bali Province Cultural Preservation Center, the Bali Cultural Heritage Preservation Center, and LLDIKTI Region VIII which has a CPNS recruitment formation.
The Chairperson of ORI Bali, Umar Ibnu Alkhatab said that based on the results of his monitoring, all the selection processes went well and according to procedures, including the implementation of the Covid-19 prevention protocol. “Earlier we discussed with officers from the Central BKN that all activity plans and all procedures have been carried out as well as possible,” he said.
He hopes that in the implementation of this selection, there will be no crucial findings, such as jockeys and so on. To support this, identity checks for participants must be carried out strictly. “So far there are no crucial findings. So everything is running smoothly and hopefully we can produce PNS products, quality lecturer products, that’s what we hope for,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Chancellor of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng., expressed his gratitude to Undiksha for the facilities provided for the selection process. He considered the facility to be very comfortable for the participants. He hopes that through the selection that has been standardized by the relevant ministries, he will be able to get high-quality CPNS and be able to support institutional development. In line with the Director of the Bali State Polytechnic, I Nyoman Abdi, S.E., M. eCom., assessed that the facilities prepared by Undiksha were very ready and good. He also hopes that the output of this selection will have superior quality in order to realize an advanced Indonesia. “If the procurement process is good, we believe the output will be good. We together summarize superior human resources, advanced Indonesia,” he said.
Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., emphasized that Undiksha is trying its best so there are no obstacles in this selection. For this reason, the implementation fully refers to the policies of the National Selection Committee (Panselnas), both for the standard of facilities and the implementation of the Covid-19 prevention protocol. “What we prepare is to provide the best possible comfort for the participants,” he said. On this occasion, emphasized in this selection, the participants must rely on their own abilities, not on others. “Therefore, we prepare a comfortable place and hope that the people who are accepted are truly people of the best quality,” he added.
This selection also received monitoring from the Buleleng Regency Covid-19 Handling Task Force. Task Force Secretary, Drs. Gede Suyasa, M.Pd., stated that the implementation had implemented health protocols and most importantly had used the Peduli Lindungi application for initial screening before participants entered the selection room. “For the implementation of SKD CPNS, I have monitored the preparations. The Covid-19 prevention protocol has been carried out,” he said. For information, the SKD implementation took place from 20 to 25 September 2021, with a total of 1,911 applicants. This number also includes those applying to universities and other institutions outside Bali.
