Singaraja- Ganesha University of Education (Undiksha) cooperates with the University of Jember in implementing the Indonesian Archipelago Student Exchange Program-Credit Transfer System with Information Technology (Permata-Sakti) and the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The signing of the collaboration took place, Tuesday (27/10/2020).
The Permata-Sakti collaboration is a form of implementation of the independent campus and independent learning policies initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Chancellor of Undiksha, Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Jampel, M.Pd., appreciated this collaboration, including in the areas of Higher Education Tri Dharma, namely education and teaching, research, and community service. “With the implementation of the signing of this collaboration, hopefully, it can provide good benefits for us and also hopefully with this we can increase the friendship between Undiksha and the University of Jember, to jointly make universities better, in the sense of producing or printing resources that are equally competitive, competitive, superior for advanced Indonesia,” he said.
It is also hoped that this collaboration can continue to be developed, such as in organizing national seminars and in scientific publications. “I said that by signing this collaboration, we hope that each dean or faculty or other unit can follow it up in a more real way,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Chancellor of the University of Jember, Dr. Ir. Iwan Taruna, M.Eng., said this collaboration was the first step in implementing the independent campus and independent learning policies. He also agreed that this collaboration could continue to be developed so as to be able to have a bigger impact that could improve the quality of each university. “This should be followed up by faculties, institutions, and study programs to develop new collaborations which are of course to improve the quality of education, research, and community service. Of course, every agreement contains benefits for each institution,” he concluded. (hms)
